Ome decided not to attend the NAMM show and they donated this banjo to the Ossipee Valley Bluegrass Association (Cornish, Maine) to be used as First Prize at the 2007. It was the only 2006 Sweetgrass with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and peghead. This is due to the CITES treaty, which regulates international trade of certain materials like rosewood, abalone, and has been in business online for 15 years and accepts all major Credit Cards and PayPal. This 2006 Sweetgrass was built by Ome to display at the January 2007 NAMM show in Anaheim, CA.
